Workshop Overview
Discover the unique combination of soldering and enameling in this engaging virtual workshop! Led by experienced instructor Anne, you’ll learn how to create stunning pairs of earrings using a torch. While these techniques may not work in a kiln, Anne will guide you step-by-step through the process, demonstrating how soldering and enameling can work together to produce beautiful results.
This workshop is designed for participants who already have experience with soldering, enameling, using a flex shaft, and piercing independently. Anne will also discuss decision-making processes for material choices to help you refine your skills.
What You’ll Learn
• How to solder and enamel earrings using a torch
• Techniques for combining these two methods effectively
• Layering and firing options to achieve unique textures and colors
• Material preparation and decision-making for successful projects
Anne will demonstrate each step of the process during live sessions, including tips for torch use and enamel application.

About the Instructor:
Anne is an independent studio artist for over 20 years, teaching workshops and exhibiting in juried exhibitions. Work is included in the permanent collections of: Philadelphia Museum of Art, Yale University Art Gallery, Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, the Crocker Art Museum, University of Arkansas, Little Rock Department of Art and Design Permanent Art Collection, the Enamel Arts Foundation, and numerous private collections.
